Your privacy is very important to us. We want to process your personal data in a legal, correct and transparent manner. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and process from you as a natural person.

From now on, we are always talking about data about you as a customer, as a possible future customer or as another data subject, such as beneficiary, contact person in a company, etc.

We recommend that you read this information carefully so that you are well aware of what we use your data for. You will also find more information about your privacy rights and how you can exercise them in this privacy statement.

3. Amendment and Update of the Privacy Policy

We can always adjust the privacy policy, for example in the context of changes to its services or the applicable legislation. It is therefore important to regularly read this privacy statement.

In the event of important changes, we will inform you personally if possible and ask for your permission where necessary.

4. What personal data is collected?

We collect all personal data that is necessary for the execution of the existing agreement between us and the customer.

Your name, address, email address, address and telephone number are requested in order to identify you.

It is also possible that Bi-care tries to obtain additional information if this is necessary to optimally represent the interests of its client under the existing agreement.

The moment additional personal data is requested, it will always be communicated transparently for what these additional personal data are acquired.

Bi-care may obtain data from third parties if you have made it public yourself by mentioning it on your website, blog, or via your publicly accessible social media profile.

It can also be data that is public, for example because it is generally known in your area or because it has appeared in the press. 

Finally, standard data is also collected and processed via Google Analytics.

Personal data is not knowingly passed on to third parties.

6.1 You can view your data

If you would like to view the data we process about you, please let us know.

If you exercise your right of access, we will provide you with as complete an overview as possible of your data. It is possible that some personal data from classic backup files, log, history or archive files are not included in this overview. These data are not part of the commonly processed personal data and are therefore not immediately available. They can therefore not be given. They are however removed from these files according to standard cleanup processes.

6.2 You can have your data corrected

It may happen that certain information that we have stored about you is not (or no longer) correct. You can always ask to have that data corrected or completed.

6.3 You can have your data deleted

If you suspect that we are processing certain data unlawfully, you can request that it be deleted.

6.4 You can object to certain use of data

If you do not agree with the way in which we process certain data, you can object to this. Objection that we will comply unless there are compelling reasons not to, which is the case, for example, when we process data to fight fraud.

6.5 You can sometimes refuse to have your data processed fully automatically

Some data processing and processes are fully automated without human intervention. We try to pass on the logic of this automatic process at the moment.

If you do not agree with the result of such a fully automated process, you can contact us.

6.6 You can ask to transfer your data to a third party

You have the right to request that personal data that you yourself have provided to us be transferred to you or directly to a third party.

The privacy legislation does provide for a number of restrictions on this right, which means that it does not apply to all data.

Always be as specific as possible when you want to exercise your rights. Then we can deal with your question concretely and correctly. We must verify your identity as well as possible to prevent someone else from exercising your rights. Hence it is a copy of you

7. Retention of your personal data

We use your personal data if we have a clear purpose for doing so. If we no longer have a purpose, we delete the data.

The starting point for keeping your personal data is the legal retention period (often up to 10 years after the end of a contract or the execution of a transaction).

This may be longer for the exercise of our rights. Does the law prescribe a retention period

for then the retention may be shorter.

For some applications, a longer time horizon may be required, for example for the creation of studies, risk and marketing models. Some insights only become clear if you look at them in a broader time frame. The retention period can be extended by 10 years compared to the standard retention periods. However, we will always break the link with individual persons as soon as possible and only work with aggregated or pseudonymised data.

We use various processors for the processing of personal data.

These are companies that process certain personal data on our behalf, such as:

– companies that support us to determine and analyze your user behavior on our applications and our internet sites

9. Security of personal data

We believe it is important that your data is treated in a secure manner. Therefore, various security technologies and measures are used to adequately protect your data against unauthorized access, use, loss or disclosure. Unfortunately, exchanging information over the internet is never 100% secure. Although we do everything we can to maintain the security of your data, we cannot guarantee this in an absolute way.
